This article explores how blockchain features can influence knowledge sharing, particularly in addressing the structural barriers that hinder effective knowledge exchange within higher education. It focuses on six fundamental characteristics of blockchain technology: transparency, security, decentralization, immutability, traceability, and smart contracts.
